Colour Collab Patchy Pouffes are whatever colours we want them to be! You Decide!

There’s 2 options for this one:

Option 1: Studio Surprise: You let me pick the fabrics based on a vibe you give me. For example, “Sunset” I would pick deep blues, purples, oranges, pinks, and reds. If you want to be totally surprised and give me free reign to do anything I want, that’s an option as well. Like the other patchy pouffes, I make it and send it without you seeing it first. Inspiration pictures are welcome, but not necessary.

Option 2: Colour Curated: You send me a vibe you’re looking for along with inspiration pictures, or pictures of the space you want to put it in. I’ll curate a collection of fabrics and send you a picture of my selection to confirm. This gives you the option to swap out some fabrics for ones you like more and get the pouffe of your dreams! The first fabric swap is included, any additional fabric swaps are charged $15 each.

Designed to be filled by you, each pouffe shell comes intentionally empty—ready to be stuffed with worn-out clothing and textiles that can’t be resold or donated. Think holey socks, stretched-out bras, ripped tights, or fabric scraps. An instruction card is included to guide you on the best stuffing methods, but ultimately, it's up to you! Create a pouffe that’s uniquely yours while keeping textiles in circulation and out of the trash.

Availability & Shipping:
Colour Curated pouffes take approximately 2-5 weeks to curate, create and ship. The exact time depends on how quickly we can correspond to design your dream pouffe. I’ll notify you once your pouffe is finished and on its way! Generally, once the colours are confirmed, it takes 2 - 3 weeks to make and ship the pouffe.

How Colour Curated Works

Looking for a patchwork pouffe that feels right at home in your space?

Choose the Colour Curated option and we'll create a one-of-a-kind pouffe inspired by your colours, style, and aesthetic preferences using our collection of rescued textiles.

Step 1: Choose Your Patchiness Level

Select your preferred patchwork style:

  • A Wee Bit Patchy

Step 2: Select Your Colour Direction

Choose between:

Studio Surprise
Trust us to create a unique pouffe using our current collection of reclaimed textiles. No preview of the fabrics chosen, we make it and send it.

Colour Curated (+$30)
We'll design your pouffe around your inspiration and colour preferences. You get a preview of the fabric selected before it’s made and an opportunity to swap out fabrics you don’t love.

Step 3 (Colour Curated): Send Your Inspiration

After purchase, email us photos, Pinterest boards, room photos, colour palettes, or inspiration images that capture the look you're after. Send inspiration pictures to bbotupcycledclothing@gmail.com

Step 4 (Colour Curated): Fabric Curation & Approval

We'll select fabrics from our available reclaimed textile collection and send you a photo of the proposed combination for approval before sewing begins.

Your Colour Curated fee includes up to 3 fabric substitutions if you'd like to make adjustments. If you are still not satisfied with the fabric selection, any additional substitution set of 3 is $15 each. Ex. After the first preview, you wanted to swap out 3 more fabric, it’s $15. If you wanted to swap out 6 fabrics, it would be $30. Each sequential substitution includes a preview. They will be invoiced, once paid, production will begin and your order shipped.

Step 5 (Colour Curated): We Create Your Pouffe

Once approved, we'll sew your pouffe and prepare it for shipment.

A Note About Reclaimed Textiles

Every pouffe is made from rescued textiles, so exact fabric matches are not possible. Rather than recreating an inspiration image exactly, we focus on capturing the overall colour palette, mood, and feel using materials currently available in our studio.

This ensures every pouffe remains truly one-of-a-kind while giving existing textiles a second life.

A Wee Bit Patchy

Made with 4 - 5 different fabrics on top, and 5 - 8 on the side panel. Made with a love for patches and a budget in mind.

Moderately Patchy

Made with 6 - 7 different fabrics on top, and 8 - 10 on the side panel. The most medium patchy pouffe.

Extra Patchy

Made with 11 different fabrics on top, and 12 -16 on the side panel. The patchiest pouffe one ever did see.

Product Details:

  • Versatile & Functional – This upcycled pouffe is a stylish and practical addition to any living space. Use it as a sitting cushion, footstool, ottoman, or even a small table with a tray. It also works beautifully as a decorative accent.

  • Sustainably Made – Crafted from second-hand sourced textiles such as curtains, tablecloths, and other reclaimed fabrics, each pouffe helps divert waste from landfills.

  • Unique Character – Due to the nature of upcycling, fabrics may have small imperfections like slight blemishes, previous needle holes, or sun spots, adding to their one-of-a-kind charm.

  • Thoughtfully Designed – The pouffe measures 17” in diameter and 12” tall. Zippers are also second-hand sourced and selected to best match the fabric, though they may not always be a perfect color match. A fabric lap covers the zipper, keeping it mostly hidden for a clean look.

  • Care Instructions – To maintain its shape and avoid a mess, it’s not recommended to remove the stuffing to wash the cover. Instead, spot cleaning is advised for any dirt or stains.

  • Care & Use Notice:
    This pouffe shell is designed for decorative and light-use purposes only. Do not stand, jump, or place excessive weight on this product. Improper use may result in damage or injury. The maker assumes no responsibility for misuse.
